Fantastic Data boasts an interdisplinary team with wide experience in all areas of data
communications—from the physical to the application layers.
Thomas Hammel
Thomas Hammel founded Fantastic Data in 1996 and is responsible for software development efforts.
With over 20 years of diverse software experience, Thomas Hammel has combined
conventional communications techniques with database replication technology to
implement the unique abilities of Fantastic Data products.
Prior to founding Fantastic Data, Thomas Hammel was a Program Manager with SRI International.
Thomas Hammel has a Bachelor of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
and a Master of Arts from Northwestern University in mathematics.
Dale Pitman
Dale Pitman joined Fantastic Data in 1997 and is responsible for algorithm development, simulation, and analysis.
Dale Pitman brings over 20 years of scientific
experience from a diverse background of scientific research programs.
Prior to joining Fantastic Data, Dale Pitman was Professor of Physics at the University of Victoria.
Dale Pitman has a Bachelor of Arts
from Wellesley College and a Ph.D. from the University of Toronto in physics.
